The title page of this chapter is enough to make me swoon, what with Hikitsu being a sex god beautiful, and little Aila being "damn straight you wish you were me".

Lots of stuff is going on at the start, but I really only care about the parts with Tomite and Hikitsu, so I’ll just skip to- wait. Alright, I’ll do an actual summary of everything else that’s going on too, since I think most people are more interested in Takiko and Rimudo. XD;;

Takiko apologizes for leaving, Tomite is all "dude, that's okay, since I'm awesome" and Uruki returns Anru's necklace to Takiko. Everyone is having a great little chat, and then VOOM the monster is somehow still alive and grabs Tomite!

Hikitsu: OMFGBBQ!!!11 *skewers monster with snakes*

And Tomite is now hallucinating and sees his father standing around, so he promptly pwnz the monster by covering it in ice, throwing it off a cliff and having Namame squish it like a fly with the walls of said cliff. (GO NAMAME!!!) Tomite angsts breifly about his daddy, and then the ghost of his father is all "whatevs. You're a good kid. <3" At this time I'm given the sneaking suspiscion that Aila has a crush on Tomite but Soruen comes and spoils the whole party by being omgSERIOUS!!!1

ELSEWHERE Shigi, Hien and Hag-Bag are on their way to Touran (aka Tolan) to throw a surprise party and try out that Hokkan vodka they've heard so much about.

Back with the Seishi, Namame has been left to his own devices (aka walk with his itty bitty legs and try to keep up with the group) and Tomite is Very Exhausted from using too much of his power. Thus it's Hikitsu to the rescue to carry him! YAY. Then Takiko spots a sort of pond. Hatsui is all OMGPLANTS! And Hikitsu explains that it's a pond that cannot freeze and it's traditionally a place where two elders from different tribes would make a pact of brotherhood and use the water to treat the wounds of the other. Tomite is all "hmmm IDEA" as Hikitsu goes to leave with Aila, while Takiko tries to remind of of the fact that "uh... your face is bleeding." But HIkitsu doesn't care until Tomite goes "HERE MORON." and Hikitsu is all "if you say so~~~!!". Rimudo mocks them breifly "omg how sweeet! HERE HATSUI! LET'S HAVE SOME Too!!" before Tomite is all "It's doesn't work like that!!!1" which changes to an "I LOVE YOU EVERYONE!!! Let's go have a party at my place!" So off they go to where they parked their yellow Dragon.

Hikitsu doesn't want to leave for some stupid reason, so Tomite andTakiko chew him out, using Aila as bait to convince him to come ("Aila um... won't um... survive unless we to have a party at Tomite's place! Let's go!!" Hikitsu: oh. okie dokie.)

They arrive at where Tomite's tribe is, and Boraate (Tomite's mother) is more excited to see Takiko, Emutato and Aila-chan than her own son. Uruki is all "angst, I have to leave because EVERYONE WILL DIE BECAUSE I AM TEH EVIL" and Takiko smartly says "oh shut it. Stay here, or I'll follow you like a lost puppy. Which a can't do, since I currently have to win over hikitsu so he'll stay with us... *devious plotting*" Boraate invites them to join their winter solstace where they 'pray' to Genbu to let them survive the winter, which translated roughly into "wild Par-tay" which turns out to be a costume party!! Even Namame manages to fit it without seeming too out of place!

Takiko finds herself alone during the party and thinks about stuff (read: Uruki) since Rimudo would rather go hang out with Soruen in the forest instead of go on a date with her. The poor girl. But it turns out Rimudo is jsut getting one of those "Follow your heart~" speechs from Soruen.

Tomite is poking arund looking for Hikitsu, and checks up on Aila, who is super excited about the party, and is feeling super good and is being fed well (The Ha tribe. They're cannibals. They're just plumping her up so they can eat her later!!). Tomite tries to apologize for kind of freezing her in a block of ice for an extended period of time, but she's all "THAT'S OKAY. WE'RE FRIENDS! Happy Happy Happy!" and then asks him to dance with her at the festival. But Tomite is all "UM..." before Hikitsu shows up and is all "if you look at her cross-eyed, I'll skin you alive and feed you to my puppies. But it's you, so you'd better take her dancing and make her happy. Or else I'll kill you until you are dead." Tomite: "T_______T but...."

Takiko is feeling lonely, and then WHOOSH Rimudo is there holding her hand and leads her off away from the party to go dancing on their own.

Tomite and Hikitsu bitch about being seishi and protecting people who hate their guts, but hey, it's all for Takiko, so it's cool. Hikitsu agrees that he'll be a Seishi, as long as there's no confusion that protecting Aila is his first priority, and he's only doing to to stick around with Tomite. XD

Back with Rimudo and Takiko, Rimudo is spouting some cheese about how at that moment they are not super wow Seishi type people, but just a man and a woman, in loooove~ and so he sweeps her into a kiss which lasts three pages. Liekwoah. And then they tell each other that they love eachother. END.
