Edit: I realise that it might not be clear in a translation, so here's a short note. The short part where the seishis appear in the second half of this chapter is a sort of flashback scene while Takiko's father explain to Takiko why the seishis were being mean to her. So, now Takiko knows the reason why and being the true shoujo heroine that she is, that only makes her want to go back even more.
