Hikitsu and Tomite (Page 185)
Written by: Watase Yuu

CAREFUL! This contains spoilers for Manga 10 and Episode 34!
The very popular Genbu Shichiseishi, Hikitsu and Tomite! (Both of their names
sound so nice when said aloud, especially Tomite's.)
Why is there only them two? Because 200 years ago, during the battle, those
two were the first to die among the seven. Actually, they were the two
strongest warriors among the seven, but because Tomite was trying to save a
child, he rused out admist the warfare. Then Hikitsu, who loves Tomite as a
younger brother, rushed out to cover him and was hit by the enemy!
So, the two died before the battle was finished. They (Hikitsu and Tomite)
felt very regretful and so they became the spirits that guarded the Shinzaho.
I feel their loyalty to Genbu no Miko is incredibly deep because both of their
personalities are very straight-forward.
Hikitsu is 21 years old. His outward appearace is very cold but he's very
warm and caring inside, someone who has strong emotions and feels deeply. His
height is 184cm, I guess? On a side note, though it doesn't come out in the
manga or anime, his eyes aren't too good because
his sign appears on his right eye.
Tomite is 16 years old. He's brash but it's better to say that he's young
and full of energy. He will give up everything just to reach a goal, but
he's actually a very naiNve youth. He's probably 173.4cm tall? His sign
is on the left side of his back.
They (Hikitsu and Tomite) have a good relationship. In fact, while they were
living, they made a pact to be as brothers. Tomite really admires Hikitsu.
But since those two have been residing alone in the cave of Genbu for 200
years, everyone says there is an "underlying purpose." Probably there is a
little...*laughs*
