They have no eyes on their heads, but rather scattered all over their bodies. The village sacrifices criminals to these monsters in hopes of pacifying them. touda Touda is the name of a huge yellow dragon that lives underneath a village. Boys from the village tried to feed Takiko to it, however the dragon is in fact affiliated with Taitsukun and comes from Mt. Taikyouku. Some consider it a god of the Earth, and it is associated with the change of the seasons. For now, as ordered by Taiitsukun, it serves Takiko and her Seishi by flying them to wherever they need or want to go. Touda also displays some ability to warp to other locations. mou The mountains of Hokkan are apprently ridden with a variety of monsters. The Mou attacked the Ha and Kan tribes, and were a source of contention as the tribes blamed each other for the monsters. They are very fast, very big and very strong. enma Enma is the name of a spirit that is made up of the angry spirits of women who were forced to work in brothels, and they seek revenge. It posessed Ruude and made her set fire to the brothel in Kounan, and also posessed Shunu, turning her into a monster. man-eaters These giant insect-like monsters live in the forests in remote and inhospitable regions of Hokkan. They prey on humans and attack villages. The Odo tribe was threatened for a while until Urumiya was able to use his powers to kill them.
