The story takes place in 1923 introducing Takiko Okuda, a Japanese student who has recently moved from Tokyo to her mothers hometown of Morioka. Takiko's father is obsessed with completing a translation of a chinese novel. Enraged at his obsession over a book, Takiko tries to rip apart the book. Instead she finds herself engulfed in a white light. When she wakes up, she finds herself on a snow covered mountain where monsters roam and two countries prepare for war. A strange child names her the Priestess of Genbu, a woman who will summon their god and bring salvation. Summoning Genbu isn't as easy as Takiko hoped, however. She must first find seven mysterious warriors, and a prophecy of misfortune has turned the people she's trying to save against her. It's hard to know friend from foe when Genbu's warriors don't want to be found, and allies are often enemies. Use the navigation to the left to read up on the story as it unfolds!
